Celeste Sinton, M.D.

Dr. Celeste Sinton, is Medical Director of the Acute Psychiatric Unit at Shodair Children’s Hospital. She joined the psychiatric team at Shodair in 2001.

After graduating from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, Dr. Sinton completed her psychiatric residency at Harding Hospital, located in Columbus, Ohio. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Sinton completed her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

In addition to her comprehensive background in child psychiatry, Dr. Sinton has been board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 1993, and in child and adolescent psychiatry since 1994.

Dr. Sinton’s areas of interest include adolescent personality disorders, anxiety disorders, as well as psychiatry and spirituality.
