Meghan Gallagher, MSW

Meghan Gallagher, MSWMeghan Gallagher has worked as one of the primary therapists on the Adolescent South Unit of Shodair Children’s Hospital since June 2009. Meghan received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brandeis University in Massachusetts and is a recent graduate of the University of Montana’s Masters in social work program. She is currently working toward achieving her license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Montana and expects to complete coursework in 2011.

Meghan interned at AWARE in Missoula and Helena, Montana, researching systems of care for two years. Prior to her internship at AWARE, Meghan worked for that organization as youth case manager. It was during this time that she developed an interest in residential treatment care. Meghan currently works with adolescents between the ages of 13 and 18 and highly enjoys this work. She is excited about Shodair’s progressive approach to the psychiatric care of children, particularly Shodair’s treatment model that includes Collaborative Problem Solving.
