Tonya Larson, MS
Tonya Larson has been one of the primary therapists on the West Adolescent Unit at Shodair Children’s Hospital since 2009. Tonya received her Master of Science degree in health and human development / marriage and family counseling from Montana State University in 2009. She is currently working toward achieving her license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Montana.
Tonya interned at a community health facility were she facilitated parenting groups for impoverished young mothers and provided individual, family, and couples therapy. Tonya also worked for the Network Against Domestic Violence, where she ran an art therapy group for children affected by domestic violence.
Tonya’s special areas of interest include play therapy, family therapy, inpatient psychiatric treatment, and Collaborative Problem Solving.
