Tricia Ayers, LCPC

Tricia Ayers, LCPCTricia Ayers, LCPC, has been one of the primary therapists in the South Adolescent Unit of Shodair Children’s Hospital since December 2009. Tricia earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Carroll College in 2001 and her master’s in health and human development / mental health counseling from Montana State University in 2007.

Tricia interned at the Western Montana Mental Health Center, at the Gallatin Mental Health Center, and at the crisis stabilization facility, Hope House, all in Bozeman. After completing her internship, Tricia spent two and one-half years working at the NEXUS Treatment Facility in Lewistown, Montana, becoming its clinical director. During her time there, Tricia gained experience working with individuals who have mental health and addiction issues.

In 2008, Tricia received her license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Montana. She is a member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association and the Montana Mental Health Counselors Association.

Tricia has a special interest in helping adolescents with mental health and substance use issues.
